Read It Forward: Where the Heart Is

GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED
GIVEAWAY WINNER: ASHELY T

I'm participating in a new little blog carnival today.
This one is SUPER fun because...you can join up too...and maybe even win something!

It's a little thing called:

Foursons

The concept is so cool.  You read a book & review it.  Then you pass your book along to someone else to read....and hopefully you'll win a book from another reader too!

It's a fun way to read new books..and meet NEW PEEPS!

I have been wanting to join for a few months, and I always forgot to read (oops!), but last month, I WON A BOOK from Julie of The Foursons...so the pressure was on!

Turns out, I didn't need the pressure.  I couldn't put the book down!

I was pretty nervous about reading this book because, I have already seen the movie....and by "seen the movie", I mean, "I own it...and there was time in high school & college that my best friend and I watched it weekly"
So, I LOVE THE MOVIE!

But I LOVED THE BOOK TOO!
Wierd, huh?
That never happens to me!

Novalee Nation is a pregnant teenage girl who is abandoned by her boyfriend at a Wal-Mart in the middle of a town she's never seen.  The book follows her life from this point on where Novalee meets a whole new world of people and learns: home isn't where you were born or even where you came from.
(I don't like giving away a lot)

4 out of 5 stars from me!

If YOU want to WIN this BOOK...
(and Particpate in Read it Forward)
Just Leave me a Comment on this Post!

winner will be announced Wednesday

  5. Hopefully I get a chance to read it this time. I didn't know that movie went with this book! I'll have to watch the movie afterwards!

  6. Oh, I LOVED this book!!! It's been a while since I read it--but I wasn't ready for the story to be over when I finished the book! What a FUN idea on Reading Forward--I'm going to check that out right now. :-)
